I have been a long time poetry writer, non published... When i first started writing online a few yers ago I thought it would be a great idea to try and publish my poetry on various poetry sites. I entered contests and submitted at least a dozen poems before I realized they are making money from my work. Everyone gets exceptd and published but you don't see any profits. My advice for those of you who write poetry watch out fo r scams because 9 out of 10 sites are scaming you. If want to really get noticed as a poet enter contests listed in writers digest magazines and other magazine related to writing and poetry. Usually a legit contest has a entry fee don't de detered it's usually only a few dollars. I would also like to start a poem page on this site if you would like to donate a poem ,email it to my email link on my main page. Bye for now
